Galloway Ridge announces the appointment of Felton Wooten as the organization’s new Director of Healthcare Services in The Arbor Healthcare Center.
A North Carolina Central University graduate with a degree in Public Administration, Mr. Wooten was chosen as North Carolina Administrator of the Year in 1997 and serves on various boards such as the Boards of Brookstone College, the Evergreen Foundation and The Music Academy of North Carolina.
“I am honored and excited about becoming a member of the team at Galloway Ridge” said Wooten. “My goal is to contribute in a meaningful way that will enhance the quality services that already exist at Galloway Ridge.”
As Director of Healthcare Services, Mr. Wooten’s role as the nursing home administrator for The Arbor Healthcare Center will be to provide strategic leadership affecting the positive outcomes for residents and staff. He has over 20 years of experience in long term care, is a native of Greensboro, NC, and is a great addition Galloway Ridge.
Galloway Ridge is a non-profit continuing care retirement community (CCRC) located south of Chapel Hill within Fearrington Village in Pittsboro, North Carolina. Galloway Ridge opened its doors in 2005. The Wall Street Journal describes Galloway Ridge as “a prototype for future housing development for older Americans.”
