Galloway Ridge is led by a team of more than 350 caring and energetic professional staff members who provide support, services and activities for Galloway Ridge residents and members of the Duke Center for Living Health and Wellness Center.

BOB ZIMMER | Executive Director/Chief Executive Officer
Bob joined the leadership team of Galloway Ridge in 2011 as Director of Finance. In 2012 he was promoted to Associate Executive Director and became Executive Director in December 2014. He has over twenty-five years of experience in non-profit management.
He is a highly professional team leader capable of effectively communicating with diverse constituencies and he is able to effectively analyze situations, plan strategically, make decisions and successfully manage all details through completion.
Bob earned his Bachelor of Arts degree at the University of Dallas, and holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Dallas as well.
ADAM MELTON | Associate Executive Director
Adam joined the leadership team of Galloway Ridge in 2016 as Director of Healthcare Services. In 2017, he was promoted to the role of Associate Executive Director. Adam has over 15 years of experience in healthcare administration, with a majority of that time in Life Plan Communities. Adam also has the distinction of spending time in both the profit and non-profit sectors of the long term care industry.
In his role as Associate Executive Director, Adam is responsible for overseeing the operations that create the “resident experience” at Galloway Ridge. He is also passionate about advocating for the aging services industry on the local, state, and federal levels. He currently assists LeadingAge NC with policy matters and serves as a board member with the Chatham County Council on Aging.
Adam earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Studies from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and is a licensed nursing home administrator in the state of North Carolina.
DANA BOYLAN-WALKER | Senior Director of Finance
Dana joined the leadership team of Galloway Ridge in March 2015. She is a results-driven executive that brings 20 years of non-profit financial management experience to the company. Before Galloway Ridge, Dana served as Chief Operating Officer for the Guilford County Partnership for Children, a NC Smart Start initiative, serving children birth to age five. Throughout the years she has developed a deep commitment to improving the lives of others and is dedicated to serving our communities.
Dana obtained her Bachelor of Science in Accounting from NC A&T State University and also holds a Master of Business Administration from Pfeiffer University. She is responsible for managing the financial risk, financial planning, financial reporting and the analysis of financial data for Galloway Ridge.
Dana is truly excited to be a part of the Galloway Ridge leadership team. She has a high interest in serving the needs of a growing community of active-minded retired citizens.
MISSY JOHNSON | Senior Director of Marketing and Sales
Missy joined the marketing and sales team at Galloway Ridge in 2013 and was promoted to Director in 2016. She brings over 25 years’ experience in gerontology and marketing to her current leadership position. Before moving to North Carolina, Missy honed her skills as editor for All About Seniors, a community senior resource magazine serving the upstate of South Carolina. As a founding partner for All About Seniors, she developed her entrepreneurial spirit and her desire to serve the aging population. She also established fundraising and community recognition events, including the Upstate Caregiver Awards.
In addition to a life-long passion for working with the aging community, Missy also has a strong commitment to advocacy for quality of life issues. She has served on the board of directors for Alzheimer’s Association-South Carolina Chapter and Meals on Wheels-Greenville. She also shared her expertise through volunteering as a member of the Bon Secours St. Francis LifeWise advisory committee, Senior Action marketing committee, Arthritis Foundation Gala committee, and the Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s committee. Missy has been recognized as one of the Best and Brightest by Greenville Business Magazine and a Dream Achiever by the YWCA.
While earning her Masters of Developmental Psychology and a Certificate of Gerontology from University of Georgia, Missy focused on research and development for successful aging and cognitive aging. She has worked in a variety of healthcare settings, including behavioral health, assisted living, and Life Plan communities. Her passion is evident in her ongoing relationships with Galloway Ridge residents, who always find her door open to them.
KIM HUTTER | Senior Director of Human Resources
Kim Hutter joined the leadership team at Galloway Ridge in June 2020. Kim has an extensive background in both senior living and human resources. Kim spent the first part of her professional life working for a large assisted living provider. She worked for several years in Human Resources for Case Western University before joining the staff at the UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy. She served as the Director of Human Resources at the School of Pharmacy for the past ten years. Kim holds a bachelor’s degree from Ursuline College in Cleveland Ohio as well as several professional certifications in Human Resources. She recently earned her North Carolina Assisted Living Administrator License.
As Senior Director of Human Resources, Kim will be responsible for all phases of the Employee Life Cycle which includes Recruitment, Onboarding, Employee Relations, Performance Management, Employee Recognition, Employment Law Compliance, Benefits and Compensation. Kim will be working closely with the other Senior Directors and Directors to continue Galloway Ridge’s reputation of being an employer of choice.
ADRIAN JACKSON | Senior Director of Facility & Technology Operations
Adrian joined the facility operations team at Galloway Ridge in April 2018. In March 2021, he joined the leadership team upon his promotion to Senior Director of Facility and Technology Operations. Adrian has an extensive background in business operations and administration with over 15 years of experience dedicated to corporate real estate and facility management.
As Senior Director of Facility and Technology Operations, Adrian is responsible for overseeing the supporting business functions related to building maintenance, grounds keeping, environmental services, security and safety, construction project management, and information technology. He also serves as the Payment Card Industry and HIPPA Security Officer for the organization. Adrian is passionate about Galloway Ridge residents receiving superior quality services for all physical and technology environments distinguished by transparency, best efforts, and a personal touch of Galloway Ridge’s core values.
Adrian earned his Bachelor of Business Administration degree and Masters of Business Administration from North Carolina Central University. He holds credentials as a Facility Management Professional (FMP) and a Sustainability Facility Professional (SFP) from the International Facility Management Association.
