OUR HEALTH CARE PROVIDERS
The UNC Clinic at Galloway Ridge is staffed five days a week and is exclusively dedicated to Galloway Ridge residents providing personalized, high-quality health care right on our campus. UNC also provides Medical Direction at Galloway via a board-certified gerontologist. Any time more specialized care is needed, there are dozens of incredible UNC Health services available to our residents just a few minutes down the road. UNC Hospitals provides cutting-edge health care, with numerous specialties and physicians nationally ranked. In 2016, UNC Hospitals was even deemed the #1 Adult Cancer Program by U.S. News and World Report.
The Duke Primary Care Clinic is open to both the public and Galloway Ridge residents, and is conveniently located on the Galloway Ridge campus. Duke further partners with Galloway Ridge by spearheading The Duke Center for Living, which provides comprehensive wellness programs and a high-quality fitness center to our residents. Just a few miles down the road, Duke Health is one of the premier healthcare organizations in the country, offering a range of talented physicians and high-quality care.

The Arbor offers residents high quality healthcare in a beautiful setting. With resident-centered care from our Medical Director, a board-certified gerontologist from the University of North Carolina, as well as access to Duke and UNC physicians seven days a week, our residents have a premier team of medical professionals ready to meet any health needs.
Designed exclusively for The Arbor community, our physical rehabilitation center serves as the center for inpatient therapeutic services. Our licensed therapists evaluate and determine what treatment can best meet the therapy requirements of each patient, with the benefit of having these services in-house.
As a resident of Galloway Ridge, membership to our on-site fitness center, the Duke Center for Living, is included in your monthly fee. Our state-of-the-art, 20,000 square foot, medically-based wellness and fitness facility includes a beautiful heated indoor saline pool, a comprehensive cardiovascular and strength developing center with an elevated indoor walking track, and as many exercise classes as you care to attend.
