PITTSBORO, NC, DECEMBER 19, 2014: The Board of Directors of Galloway Ridge, Inc. is pleased to announce the appointment of Robert Zimmer, the organization’s new Executive Director. Zimmer was previously an Associate Executive Director and Chief Financial Officer of Galloway Ridge. The Board is confident of Zimmer’s ability to lead Galloway Ridge to continued growth, development, and support of its resident population.
As Executive Director, Zimmer is responsible for day-to-day leadership and management of the organization. He is responsible for ensuring and strengthening its financial performance, providing outstanding health care and activities support to its residents. Working with the Board of Directors, Zimmer will play a key role in the development and execution of all policy, financial, residential, health services and fundraising strategies and initiatives. Zimmer is resident-focused, people oriented and driven to excellence in all aspects of life at Galloway Ridge.
Zimmer was promoted from the Associate Executive Director positi0n following three years of outstanding service. Galloway Ridge Board President Dick Kahler welcomed Zimmer to his new assignment, citing his many accomplishments at Galloway Ridge to date.
