If you are a senior (at least 50 years of age by the end of 2013), it is time to mark your calendar. The 2013 6th Annual Senior Invitational Charity Golf Tournament is scheduled for Saturday, June 1, 2013. Members of the three Traditional Raleigh Golf courses – Preserve, Chapel Ridge, and Falls Village – are invited to participate. All senior golfers (with a verifiable USGA handicap) non-members and members alike are welcome to participate. We hope you will plan to play and encourage you to invite other seniors as well! Participation will be limited to the first 80 whom sign-up.

Their sponsorship enables us to donate more to our chosen 2013 charity –Alzheimer’s of North Carolina, Inc.
Alzheimer’s of North Carolina‘s mission is to eliminate Alzheimer’s disease through the advancement of research; to provide and enhance care and support for all affected; and to reduce the risk of dementia through the promotion of brain health. Funds raised by 2013 Tournament will be used exclusively in Chatham County providing a well-deserved respite care for those whose focus is on providing day-to-day care for family members with the disease.
Rita Bhan is the Event Coordinator for our corporate and special sponsorships. We have fund raising activities that include Hole Sponsorships (Bill Lackey), a Raffle (Jim Grace and Ed Reid), and a Silent Auction (Tom Baldasare). We are still in need of items and services for the raffle and art items for the silent auction. Please look for future notes asking for assistance from the coordinators of these activities.
