At Galloway Ridge, you will never be short of things to do! To enrich everyone’s lifestyle, our talented and hard-working Resident Life team puts together an extraordinary program of events for you to participate in, should you desire. All our activities cover the eight dimensions of wellness, to help you achieve a stimulating and well-balanced lifestyle. Get ready to have a wonderful time!
There are trips organized to the symphony, or perhaps chamber music is more to your liking. There are evening outings to our wonderful local restaurants, museums and lunch, or visit the night sky at the Chapel Hill Planetarium. We have fun shopping trips to local malls. We have world class theaters with Broadway musicals, concert performances and ballet to delight you. If you prefer to stay home, we have enough in-house events to fill every day of your week.
You can take a computer class, a history lecture, a travelogue from one of our fascinating, well-traveled residents or perhaps join one of our several book clubs. Or maybe you would like to learn all about wine, take in a movie at our very own 49 seat cinema, or learn to make some beautiful jewelry. There are photography classes, a comedy open-mic night, karaoke night, or lessons in Chinese calligraphy. Maybe an outing to a Durham Bulls baseball game? We also have plenty of spiritual offerings with worship or thoughtful and lively discussions in which to participate.
Come and see for yourself all the wonderful offerings we have for you here, with countless opportunities for you to make new friends and have the time of your life!
