PRN and Part Time Servers needed in our upscale Life Plan Community with several dining venues. Varied shifts available; must be willing to work weekends. Galloway Ridge is hiring housekeepers. Responsible for daily cleanliness & sanitation of all assigned common areas, hallways, residential units, rest rooms, dining rooms, offices & furniture to assure that the highest degree of quality resident care is maintained at all times. This is a full time position.

We are looking for North Carolina Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) or (RN’s) for Full Time and PRN positions.  We currently have evening and weekend shifts available.
REQUIREMENTS:

  • Current LPN or RN License in NC in good standing
  • Experience working with senior adults.
  • Provide daily supervision to assigned staff and directly provide nursing care to residents on Skilled Nursing Unit
  • Identify resident medical and behavioral changes, and report to MD accordingly
  • Medication administration and reordering of medications
  • Ability to work independently and interact effectively with co-workers and supervisors
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living
  • Ability to multi-task, solve problems effectively and provide resident-focused care

Responsibilities:

  • Wash and clean tableware, pots, and cooking equipment. Keep the dish room and equipment clean and organized.
  • Load, run and unload dish machine. Wash pots, pans, and trays.
  • Keep the dish machine clean and report any functional and mechanical problems immediately.
  • Monitor dish machine water temperature to ensure sanitary wash cycle.
  • Wash and store all tableware and kitchenware. Maintain adequate levels for dining room and kitchen.
  • Handle tableware carefully to prevent breakage or loss.
  • Keep dish room clean and organized.
  • Sweep and mop kitchen floors. Wash work tables, walls, and refrigerators.
  • Segregate and remove trash and garbage and place it in designated containers.
  • Steam clean or hose out garbage cans.
  • Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
  • Demonstrates positive interpersonal skills with co-workers.
  • Functions as a supportive team member during the course of their shift.

Position requires regular, reliable attendance. Must be at least 18 years old. This is a full time position.

Completion of Medication Aide training class and current Med Aid and CPR Certification, must have CNA certification in NC

We are currently hiring Line Cooks.  Full Time positions are available.

Line Cook prepares a la carte dinners in an efficient, timely, and attractive manner. Must possess ability to follow instructions and interact well with co-workers, and put out highest quality food. Position requires excellent knowledge of international cuisine as well as American. Must have the ability to prepare specified dishes in a timely manner for banquets and buffets according to recipes. General knowledge of baking and pastry preferred but not required. Responsible for properly storing and rotating fresh products daily and cleaning and organizing reach-in and walk-in freezers in an effort to maintain sanitation guidelines. Coordination and endurance required; involves cooking over hot equipment and repetitive motions. Also, may require lifting up to 45
pounds, bending, and walking. Two years related experience and/or training required.

We are currently seeking an experienced Clinic Nurse for our on-site UNC Clinic.  This is a PRN position.  Office hours are 9am-4pm, Monday-Friday.  Candidate would work on an as needed basis to fill in for full time staff.

Requirements:

  • Current LPN License in NC in good standing
  • Prior medical office experience is required
  • Previous Geriatric experience is preferable
  • Experience in routine treatments, lab draws and first aid required
  • Current CPR required
  • Must be efficient at multi-tasking, problem solving, working independently
  • Must be able to collaboratively working with colleagues and supervisors
  • Excellent attendance record and exercises a high-degree of time management
