Throughout this pandemic, our number one priority has been to protect the health and well-being of our residents, employees, family members and the broader community, and to reduce the risk for those most vulnerable to COVID-19. Science has demonstrated that the best way that we – as a community and individuals – can do this is through vaccination. We are taking reasonable steps to make sure that our employees– many of whom remain on the frontlines, are protected and available to care for our residents as we deal with the next phases of the pandemic.

As in previous years, all employees are required to have the flu vaccine by October 31, 2021 or an approved medical or religious exemption by October 15, 2021.

We have instituted a Galloway Ridge Covid-19 Task Force consisting of key staff members with advisement from resident leadership to discuss protocols.

Bob Zimmer, Executive Director; Adam Melton, Associate Executive Director; Cori Cansler, Director of Resident Enrichment; Josh Carr, Director of Resident Services; Amber Smith, Director of Duke Center for Living; Fred Sparling, Resident Board Member; Jan Sassaman, Resident Council Chair.
